OCTOpod Printer Template Masks
Place four crowns. In the right spots. Every time.
Drop these STL templates into your slicer to mark the four exact build-plate positions designed for the OCTOpod™ Crown Vat. Place your crowns in the marked slots, slice, print. (The mask is zero-thickness — the slicer won't expose it, so you can leave it in place.)
One mask per printer.
Each STL is the exact build-plate footprint for the OCTOpod Crown Vat, with four positioning markers where each crown should sit. Download the mask that matches your printer.
Elegoo Mars 4 Ultra mask
Build-plate template for the Mars 4 Ultra 9K. Compatible with Chitubox, Lychee Slicer, and Mars-native slicers. Import as STL, position crowns, slice. The mask is zero-thickness, so it can stay in the scene — the slicer won't expose it.

Phrozen Sonic Mini 8K S mask
Build-plate template for the Sonic Mini 8K S. Compatible with Chitubox and Lychee Slicer. Import as STL, position crowns, slice. The mask is zero-thickness, so it can stay in the scene — the slicer won't expose it.

Four-step workflow.
Slicer-side setup
- Open your slicer (Chitubox / Lychee / Anycubic Photon Workshop) and start a new project for the supported printer.
- Import the matching mask STL for your printer onto the build plate. The four positioning markers will appear at the corners of the Crown Vat region.
- Import your four crown STLs and drop one into each marker location. Use the slicer’s “move to position” or “center” tools to align centers exactly.
- Slice and send to the printer. The mask is zero-thickness, so the slicer won’t expose it — you can leave it in place. The OCTOpod Crown Vat will catch each crown in its dedicated chamber.
Version & support
These masks are versioned (v0 · 2026-05-05) and may change as we tune positioning tolerances. If you previously bookmarked a download URL, refresh this page periodically to get the latest version.
If a print run misaligns despite using the mask, email chad@octodent.com with your printer model, slicer, and a screenshot of the build-plate layout.
